I consider myself a centerist, I don’t lean very hard right or left. I find the extremist elements both sides of the political spectrum disgusting. I believe what George W Bush said

To often, we judge other groups by their worst examples - while judging ourselves by our best intentions. And this has stained our bonds of understanding and common purpose.

To be clear on my political stances, I never liked Donald Trump, not since listening to an NPR story about his involvement with orginized crime. I do not feel he is a good person. However, I voted for him in 2016 because I could not stand Hillary. I did not vote in 2020 as I did not like either candidate enough. I voted for Harris in 2024 due to the promise to reduce student loan payments to 2.5% instead of 5%.

I am not upset Trump won, I do not like where our country is headed and I believe Trump will fix some of those issues.

This blog will just a place for me to rant and rave about the latest politics and real life issues.
